Overview
In December 2024, the Indian stock market closed 2.01% down (Nifty). The market reached all-time highs in September, with the Sensex peaking at 85,978.25 and the Nifty at 26,277.35. The Nifty’s performance, which is more or less in line with the BSE Index, experienced a dramatic run until the end of September, reaching about 20%.
